We need more volunteers – could you offer just a couple of hours each week? FREE advisory training provided. We also need more volunteer solicitors.

Here at Kiveton Park Advice Centre we welcome people who want to put something back into the community whilst learning new skills. We have opportunities for volunteers to train as General Advisors. Volunteers are respected just as much as paid workers and it looks good on your CV.

You will Learn how to greet Clients, Learn about Basic Benefits and how to source Information and use it affectively. The training is mostly done in house but outside training opportunities will be available from time to time you will have the support and guidance to help with your personal development. In return we expect commitment to do at least two hours Voluntary work per week.

The work can be very rewarding in terms of the satisfaction that you will get from helping people to solve their problems and you will be making a valuable contribution to a worthwhile project.

Some of our volunteers have used the skills and knowledge that they have attained to gain paid employment doing a job that they enjoy doing and have embarked on a Career that they view as a vocation and not just a paid job. We are also always looking for new members of the management committee too; people who would like to make a difference and who think they have something to offer to this worthwhile project.
